Hello everyone, these are my Times Tables Student Book slides. These slides are mostly about identifying multiplication. At the last slide it shows you an example of an array, equal groups, repeated addition and a turn around. I found it hard, fun and interesting.
Have you done anything like this yet?
Blog You Later!
Kia ora Kapiri, You have worked hard on your slides! I love you example of an array, equal groups, repeated addition and a turn around at the end. You have very clearly shown the ways 3 lots of 8 equal 24. Did that help you think about all the different ways we can represent multiplication? A quick note, did you check your Whizzbrain's times table trick slides with a calculator after you used the tricks? What Times Table are you working on learning at the moment? blog you later, Megan : )
ReplyDeleteHi Ms Judd it's Kapiri,
DeleteYes I have used the calculator trick on my Whizz brain slides.
Using the array, equal groups, repeated addition and a turn around does show different ways of how you could end up with the number 24.
Kia ora Kapiri, It's always good to check your calculations using a different method. That way you will find any mistakes you may have made : ) Could you think of a word problem for your equation (3 x 8)? blog you later, Megan : )
