The America's Cup

 

Excitingly Te Rehutai zoomed through the ocean as the waves went crashing into the boat. Everyone in the boat was exhausted from paddling, the crowd cheerfully shouted Go! Go!  Everyone in the boat was paddling with all their strength.            People in the boat couldn't believe their eyes, they saw  they were close to the finish line.

Happily everyone in the boat paddled and paddled until Italy’s boat was left behind Te Rehutai,the crowd shouted and screamed with joy as Te Rehutai was in first place,the finish line was right in front of them but then finally with excitement Te Rehutai crossed the finish line which means New Zealand won! With happiness everyone cheered, Emirates Team New Zealand won the 36th America’s Cup.

Koru Art inspired by Raewyn Harris and mountains...

Here is my koru art that I designed. The materials that I used for my art are pastel. I found trying to make space for all the colours was challenging. My class was talking about Mount Everest so I thought why don't I put a mountain in the middle of my koru art. This was really fun and I think you should check out the artist Raewyn Harris's koru art, her art is amazing.

Hi Room 7 I thought this was easy but fun. I went onto DLO from the Extra Challenge Activities and there are a variety of activities like Optical illusions or The Treasure code that you can do. I think these are awesome because I like the colours and patterns. Highly recommend you try this.

If I shrunk I would like to meet a butterfly because butterflies are very colourful, beautiful and I think the patterns on their wings are very artistic. I also think they look graceful when they fly.
